B H M is a fadulant author who does around and writes bogus reviews in order to recommend his own crapy book. I had heard of South Beach and decided to aply it in my life. I got two books about South Beach Diet, including this one. I like the fact that the author isn't just saying what to do to lose weight but he also does an excellent job of explaining why following his advice works. South Beach is like a modified version of Atkins which I also used with success. Unlike Atkins the South Beach Diet is also ideal for those who can't eat a high fat diet. I lost 8 lbs. my first week which I consider a very good result. So far, am down over 17 lbs. in three weeks and feel great! Very helpful was also a chapter on obesity

Good follow-up book to the original South Beach diet, with many recipes of tasty dishes. -- South Beach Diet has been on the top of bestseller lists for a few years now. However, in view of the recent critiques of Atkins low carb diet, I think that it is better to consider other approaches
